People are taking Ubers instead of Ambulances

This is from a study conducted at the University of Kansas in 2017. That's how you know you're business practices are fucked. An Uber to the hospital might cost $30, an ambulance can cost up to $5,000. WTF is wrong with our healthcare system? I understand that you get medical care on the way, but there's something wrong with the business model for that level of markup.
